Healing tourism: Integrating mental health and spiritual travel experiences

Abstract
This study examines the concept of healing tourism, analyzes typical models, and identifies the key success factors driving its development. Building on these insights, the study explores the potential for developing healing tourism in Vietnam, leveraging the country’s diverse natural resources and rich spiritual culture, and proposes suitable models for local application. The study further discusses challenges related to quality management, human resource development, and sustainable growth. Based on this analysis, it offers policy recommendations and practical guidance for businesses and communities to foster a sustainable development orientation for healing tourism in Vietnam.
