Modeling the determinants of job satisfaction in the telesales workforce

Abstract

This study proposes a theoretical model identifying key factors that influence job satisfaction among telesales employees. Drawing on established theories and prior empirical findings, the model incorporates eight determinants expected to directly affect job satisfaction: job characteristics, working environment, workplace relationships, income and benefits, training and development, perceived fairness, leadership style, and work-life balance. Correspondingly, eight hypotheses are formulated to explain variations in job satisfaction within telesales settings. The proposed model offers a robust theoretical foundation for future empirical studies and contributes to advancing research in organizational behavior, particularly in the rapidly expanding telesales industry.
