Factors influencing vocational training and career path orientation among students at Hanoi University of Industry

This study explores the key factors influencing vocational training orientation and career path selection among college-level students at Hanoi University of Industry. Drawing on survey data collected in recent years from the Vietnam-Japan Center, the research analyzes both pre- and post-graduation influences on students’ career decisions. The findings highlight the roles of personal interests, family expectations, labor market trends, and institutional support in shaping students' choices. Based on these insights, the study proposes targeted solutions to support students in aligning their academic pathways with market demands and economic conditions. Additionally, it offers strategic recommendations for the Vietnam-Japan Center to enhance student recruitment, guidance, and training effectiveness.
