An Overview of Knowledge Sharing in Multinational Corporations and Technology Spillover Effects in Vietnam

Abstract
Research on knowledge sharing and knowledge management systems in multinational corporations (MNCs) has attracted considerable attention from scholars worldwide for decades. Using a literature review approach, this paper synthesizes theoretical and empirical studies on knowledge sharing within multinational corporations and examines the mechanisms through which knowledge transfer contributes to technology spillover. Based on the reviewed literature, the paper discusses the positive impacts of multinational corporations on the Vietnamese economy through knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and technology spillover. The findings provide a theoretical foundation for future research and offer implications for enhancing technology diffusion and innovation capacity in Vietnam.
