Abstract
The commercialization of scientific research results has long attracted significant attention from scholars worldwide, including those in Vietnam, as universities increasingly seek to strengthen their role in socio-economic development. This paper examines the forms, current status, mechanisms, and policies related to the commercialization of scientific research outcomes at public technical universities in Vietnam. It also evaluates the achievements and challenges associated with commercializing research outputs. Based on the findings, the study identifies the key advantages and limitations in translating scientific research results into practical applications, thereby providing a basis for improving the effectiveness of technology transfer and innovation activities in public technical universities.
