Implementing International Trade Policies During the Global Economic Slowdown Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract
This paper provides an overview of current international trade policies and the policy instruments used to implement them. It also presents the findings of a survey on business perspectives regarding the policy tools that Vietnam should employ under current circumstances. Based on the analysis, the paper proposes several solutions to strengthen import management and promote exports amid the global economic slowdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
