Development Directions for Non-public Universities with Application-oriented Training

Application-oriented training is considered an appropriate development direction for universities in the context that many graduates still do not fully meet employers' expectations. This training approach equips students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical professional skills and the appropriate work attitude, enabling them to enter the labor market immediately after graduation. This paper provides an overview of application-oriented training, analyzes the necessity of adopting this approach in non-public universities, and proposes several solutions to support the development and effective implementation of application-oriented training programs, thereby improving educational quality and better meeting labor market demands.
