The Need for Gender Awareness: Gender Equality Issues and the Public's Attitude Towards Feminist Messages for Advertising and Communication Strategies

Abstract

This study explores issues related to gender awareness, gender equality concepts and trends, feminist advertising on multimedia platforms, and public attitudes in Vietnam towards feminist messages. The findings indicate that traditional frameworks and gender stereotypes in society are changing day by day. Based on these findings, the study proposes several recommendations to enhance the public's positive attitudes and improve the effectiveness of advertising and communication campaigns concerning gender equality and feminism.
