Theoretical basis and research model on the impact of performance management on the performance of Vietnamese joint stock commercial banks

Abstract

This study presents an overview on studies on the performance management system and process in order to analyze the impact of performance management on business results. The study finds out that the performance management is considered as a strategic and powerful tool to encourage employees to achieve their personal and strategic organizational goals. Based on the study’s findings, the study proposes a research model and research orientations about the impact of the performance management on the performance of joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam.
