The current state budget balance and solutions for sustainably balancing the state budget of Ben Tre province

State budget balance plays an important role in the implementation of fiscal policies. It reflects the balance between the state revenue and the expenditure to achieve macroeconomic goals, efficiently allocate and use financial resources, ensure social justice and minimize inequality among localities. However, the state budget balance of Ben Tre province is not sustainable. This study is to clarify the ability to balance the state budget and assess the current state revenues and expenditures management of Ben Tre province. Based on the study’s findings, some suggestions are made to help Ben Tre province balance its state budget sustainably.
