Using information gap activities to motivate students in speaking lessons for the first-year non-English major students at the University of Law, Vietnam National University - Hanoi

Abstract

This study is to explore the use of information gap activities to motivate students in speaking lessons for the first-year non-English major students at the University of Law, Vietnam National University - Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi). The study focuses on describing the importance of information gap activities to motivate students to speak English and using information gap activities to motivate students in speaking lessons. The study also intends to provide suggestions for English teachers to prepare English speaking lessons at the University of Law, VNU - Hanoi.
