Factors Affecting the Work Motivation of Civil Servants in Mekong Delta Provinces

Abstract

This study explores the factors affecting the work motivation of civil servants in the provinces of Mekong Delta. The study finds out that there are six factors affecting the working motivation of civil servants in the Mekong Delta, including: the participation into the planning task, the reward and recognition policies, the interesting and challenging work, the leader, and the income and benefits. Based on the study’s results, six policy implications are proposed to improve the work motivation of civil servants in the provinces of Mekong Delta in the coming time.
