Factors affecting the work motivation of commune-level cadres and civil servants at Tinh Bien district, An Giang province

Abstract
This study identifies the factors and measures the impact of these factors on the work motivation of commune-level cadres and civil servants at Tinh Bien district, An Giang province. The study finds out that there are six factors affecting the work motivation of commune-level cadres and civil servants. These factors, listed in descending order of influencing level, are: nature of work, leadership behavior, working conditions, training and promotion opportunities, colleagues, salary, bonus, and benefits. Based on the study’s findings, some implications are made to improve the work motivation of commune-level cadres and civil servants at Tinh Bien district, An Giang province.
