The relationship among the organizational commitment, the organizational citizenship behavior and the job performance of Saigon Water Supply Corporation’s employees

Abstract

This study is to evaluate the relationship between the organizational commitment, the organizational citizenship behavior and the job performance of employee. In this study, quantitative research methods are used and data is collected from 176 employees of Saigon Water Supply Corporation by using questionnaires and analyzed by Smart PLS software. The study finds out that the organizational commitment has a positive influence on the organizational citizenship behavior and the job performance. In addition, the organizational citizenship behavior has an impact on the job performance of employees. Based on the study’s findings, some managerial implications are proposed to improve the job performance of Saigon Water Supply Corporation’s employees.
