Developing human resources in Halal industry: Experiences from other countries and policy implications for Vietnam

Abstract

The rapid development of the global Halal industry has opened up numerous new economic cooperations for countries, creating a significant demand for Halal human resources. The requirement of Halal human resources presents a major challenge for non-Muslim countries, including Vietnam, in building and developing the Halal industries. Based on this observation, this paper will delve into the impact of the lack of human resources on developing the Halal industry and accessing the international Halal market, and present the experiences of other countries to propose solutions for Vietnam on Halal education and training to develop human resources for the Halal industry.
