Assessing the Global Competence of University Students

Abstract

This study examines the role of knowledge and understanding, skills, attitudes, and values on students' perceptions of global competence. The study finds that the factors of attitudes and values play an important role in enhancing the global competencies of students. In addition, the factors of knowledge, understanding, and skills also have positive impacts on the global competencies of students. This study is expected to contribute to global research by validating the global competency measurement tool for students in Vietnam and empirically confirming the global competency theoretical framework.
