Developing Human Resources to Promote Digital Transformation in Small and Medium-sized Logistics Enterprises in Northern Vietnam

Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) has taken place strongly around the world, promoting digital transformation in enterprises to improve competitiveness and labor productivity, develop sustainability, and integrate with the global economy. It is necessary for logistics enterprises to flexibly adapt to new socio-economic conditions through digital transformation. In order for the digital transformation process to be successful and effective, human resources play an indispensable role. Through interviews with experts, this study proposes a set of logistics human resource development indicators to promote the digital transformation process in small and medium-sized logistics enterprises in Vietnam and applies the AHP model to assess the impact of these indicators.
