Nghiên cứu bào chế gel bôi da chứa Cafein 3%

Bài nghiên cứu nhằm mục đích lựa chọn được các thành phần với tỉ lệ phù hợp để điều chế gel bôi da chứa cafein 3%, dựa trên việc đánh giá một số đặc tính của gel như: cảm quan, pH, độ nhớt, hàm lượng hoạt chất và khả năng phóng thích hoạt chất qua màng cellulose acetat. Kết quả cho thấy, khi thay đổi tỉ lệ gôm xanthan (0,5%, 1%, 2%) trong công thức không làm thay đổi khả năng phóng thích cafein qua màng, mặc dù độ nhớt gel tăng lên đáng kể. Trong khi đó, tăng tỉ lệ dung môi 1,3-propanediol từ 10%, 20%, lên đến 30% đã làm giảm lượng cafein phóng thích qua màng. Công thức chứa 1,3-propandiol 10% có lượng cafein phóng thích qua màng cao hơn các công thức còn lại ở các thời điểm 60 phút, 240 phút, 360 phút. Dựa vào các tiêu chí đã đánh giá trong phạm vi nghiên cứu này, chúng tôi đã lựa chọn công thức tốt nhất gồm các thành phần sau: cafein 3 %, 1,3-propanediol 10 %, gôm xanthan 1 %, ethanol 2%, tween 80 5% và nước cất vừa đủ.
