Research trends on tourism destination brand equity.
Published: July 28, 2026
Abstract
Tourism destinations are facing many challenges due to the penetration and fierce competition of both current and potential competitors. Therefore, it is necessary for tourism destinations to create a truly profound image in the minds of customers. However, academics have given this issue little attention in their studies. This study is to identify research trends on tourism destination brand equity in order to make some suggestions for future studies about this topic.
