Regulations on electronic evidence in the Vietnamese banking system

Abstract

The legal framework governing electronic evidence in the Vietnamese banking system has evolved to accommodate the rise of digital transactions and electronic documents. This study examined the current legal provisions relating to electronic evidence in the context of the Vietnamese banking sector. The study also highlighted challenges that banks face in ensuring the security and authenticity of electronic records and discussed the role of technology in mitigating these issues. The study also addressed the legal implications of electronic evidence in dispute resolution and litigation, providing insights into the views of the courts in handling such evidence. Through a comprehensive analysis, this study aimed to provide recommendations for enhancing the legal framework to better support the use of electronic evidence in the Vietnamese banking system, ensuring compliance and protection for financial institutions and their customers.
