Criminal provisions of some countries on operating motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol and beer and lessons for Vietnam

Abstract
Numerous road traffic accidents occur due to violations of legal regulations, with a significant proportion attributable to alcohol and beer consumption. By examining the criminal laws of some countries and then comparing them with Vietnamese criminal law, this study identifies several shortcomings and proposes recommendations for Vietnam to strengthen its regulations on operating motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol and beer.
