28. Integrating Technology Solutions into the Operation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Vietnam

This study presents the current technology integration into the operation of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. Although SMEs’ awareness of the benefits of technology solutions is increasing, many enterprises are facing challenges in terms of digital infrastructure, resistance to change, managing and maintaining technology solutions. In addition, some enterprises lack technical expertise and funds to implement and maintain technology solutions. However, there are opportunities for SMEs to take advantage of technology to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. To overcome the above-mentioned challenges, it is important for SMEs in Vietnam to prioritize technology investment, technical expertise development and also to work with state management agencies and partners from the private sector to improve their digital infrastructure and access to capital sources.
