Psychological factors affecting academic procrastination of students at Van Lang university

Abstract

In a mixed-method research study, our team administered questionnaires to over 230 students to assess and validate theoretical models and hypotheses. The study revealed fve factors influencing academic procrastination among Van Lang University students: low dedication to learning, lack of self-confdence in their abilities, diminished self-esteem when reminded of tasks, impulsive work habits leading to reduced focus, and stress due to excessive academic pressure.
