People's consensus on congestion tolls in Vietnam: Case study in Hanoi

Abstract
The study analyzed people's views on toll collection in Hanoi, thereby making recommendations on toll collection policy. Collecting congestion fees for road vehicles is an economic solution to reduce the number of vehicles entering some areas at risk of traffic congestion and environmental pollution. This policy can influence the behavior of road users and facilitate the shift from personal vehicles to more efficient and friendly road vehicles, such as buses and other public transport vehicles.
