Exploring the Curcumin Loading Capacity of Solid Silica Nanoparticles (SSN)

Tóm tắt

Silica nanoparticles have been extensively utilized as potential drug carriers in medicine in recent years. Spherical solid-structured silica nanoparticles (SSN) with high homogeneity were successfully synthesized, exhibiting an average particle size of 132.2 ± 1.7 nm. The synthesized particles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), nitrogen adsorption-desorption analysis, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The drug loading capacity and drug loading efficiency of Curcumin (Cur) in SSN were 4.74 ± 0.10% and 21.11 ± 0.47%, respectively.
