The Cross-Docking Model for Managing Logistics Activities in Vietnam's Large Cities

Urban development, especially in major cities in Vietnam, has facilitated socio-economic development. It is necessary to work out solutions and operation models to gradually streamline the flow of goods and improve the efficiency of logistics activities in large cities. This study briefly pointed out some issues facing logistics activities in large cities in Vietnam, introduced the features and benefits of the cross-docking model, analyzed the current situation of logistics activities, and proposed recommendations to develop an appropriate model for operating logistics activities in Vietnam's large cities in the coming time.
