Analyzing the current medical examination and treatment based on traditional medicine in An Giang province

Traditional medicine is the knowledge and skills of health care and disease treatment accumulated over many generations. This study analyzed the current medical examination and treatment based on traditional medicine in An Giang province. The study's data were collected from 296 people living in An Giang who have been treated or have knowledge about traditional medicine. The study found that when choosing traditional medicine, people pay special attention to the factors of trust, safety, professional qualifications, medical ethics, and facilities of traditional medicine treatment units.
