Factors affecting the intention of university students in Ho Chi Minh City to use e-cigarettes

Abstract

This study identified, measured, and evaluated the factors that influence the intention of university students in Ho Chi Minh City to use e-cigarettes. Quantitative methods were used to survey 122 students in this study. The study's results showed that there are four factors affecting the intention of students to use e-cigarettes, including psychological factors, personal characteristics, family and relatives, and environmental factors. Based on the study's findings, some recommendations were made to help school administrators, families, and students reduce the use of e-cigarettes and improve the health of students and people around them.
