The role of Industry 4.0 in the development of productive forces and production relations in the current transition period of Vietnam

The industrial revolution is a leap in both scientific and technical knowledge and production technology. Each industrial revolution, from the First Industrial Revolution to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), has a huge impact on human development in all economic, political, and social fields. Industrial revolutions, especially Industry 4.0, have created breakthrough opportunities for the development of countries. The development of productive forces and production relations under the impact of the industrial revolution is a fundamental factor promoting the economic development of countries, including Vietnam. As a latecomer country, it is essential for Vietnam to seek a reasonable method to overcome obstacles and take advantage of opportunities brought by Industry 4.0, making Vietnam a strong country with prosperous people, a fair, democratic, civilized society, and firmly advancing socialism.
