Factors influencing international tourists’ choice of homestay accommodation in Hanoi

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing international tourists' choice of homestay accommodation in Hanoi. Drawing on relevant theoretical frameworks and practical insights, the research analyzes current trends in homestay selection and identifies key drivers behind tourist preferences. Based on these findings, the study proposes solutions aimed at enhancing the appeal of homestay services to foreign visitors. The results offer valuable implications for homestay businesses and tourism management authorities in developing high-quality products and services that align with tourist expectations, thereby improving the overall performance and competitiveness of the homestay sector in Hanoi.
