The impact of vocational education policies on youth unemployment in Vietnam

Youth unemployment in Vietnam remains persistently high, particularly amid rapid changes in the labor market driven by digital transformation and international integration. In this context, vocational education and training policies are crucial for enhancing the skills and employability of the young workforce. This study examines the impact of vocational education and training policies on youth unemployment in Vietnam in recent years, highlighting both achievements and limitations. Based on the analysis, the study proposes policy recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of vocational education and training in addressing youth unemployment and adapting to the evolving demands of the labor market.
