Developing green human resources to support sustainable development in Vietnam

Abstract

In the face of climate change and resource depletion threatening sustainable development, the concepts of a “green economy” and “green human resources” have gained increasing significance. Vietnam is actively transitioning toward a low-carbon, resource-efficient, and environmentally friendly economy. Developing green human resources has become a critical driver for transforming the growth model, fostering green technologies, and promoting clean energy. This study analyzes the current status of green human resource development in Vietnam, identifies key challenges, and proposes solutions to enhance both the quality and quantity of green human resources to advance the nation’s sustainable development goals.
