Innovative startup intentions and spin-off business Models in multidisciplinary universities: Current situation And influencing factor

Abstract

This study examines innovative entrepreneurship within a multidisciplinary university setting by assessing the spin-off business model through a survey of 504 respondents, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students. Using a five-point Likert scale, 13 key factors influencing spin-off enterprise formation were analyzed. The results reveal a strong willingness among students to establish spin-off businesses, with personal characteristics and traits identified as the most significant determinants. These findings highlight the need for targeted strategies to foster entrepreneurial capabilities and support spin-off development within academic institutions.
