Solutions for developing tourism in the palm sugar craft village of the Khmer ethnic group in Tri Ton district, An Giang province

This study explores the potential for tourism development in the palm sugar craft village of the Khmer ethnic group in Tri Ton district, An Giang province. Based on this analysis, the study proposes several solutions to enrich tourism activities in the region. Key recommendations include formulating a tourism development plan for the palm sugar craft village for the 2025-2030 period, establishing a network of attractions such as a craft village museum, a culinary restaurant, and a product display space. Additionally, the study emphasizes the need to diversify product offerings, particularly processed palm sugar products, to enhance the visitorư experience and strengthen the village’s appeal as a cultural and economic tourism destination.
