The impact of state management on the performance of manufacturing and processing companies in Vietnam

Abstract
This study evaluates the impact of government management on the operational efficiency of Vietnam’s manufacturing and processing industry. Utilizing a quantitative analysis approach, the research analyzes secondary data from the General Statistics Office, encompassing 6,222 enterprises across 63 provinces. Key indicators, including the PCI Index, PAPI Index, and ICT Index, are used to assess the effectiveness of government management. The study categorizes government influence into two primary areas: fostering a favorable business environment and promoting technological innovation. Based on these insights, the study proposes strategic recommendations, including administrative reforms, strengthening public-private partnerships, enhancing investment in research and development, and improving information technology infrastructure at the local level.
