Training high quality tour guides in the context of integration and development

This study analyzes the current state of tour guide training in Vietnam, identifying key criteria for evaluating tour guide quality, including professional qualifications, communication and organizational skills, foreign language proficiency, physical fitness, and adaptability. By assessing existing training practices and industry demands, the research highlights gaps and challenges in developing a high-quality tourism workforce. Based on these findings, the study proposes targeted solutions to enhance the training and development of tour guides, contributing to the overall improvement of Vietnam’s tourism human resources in the context of international integration and globalization.
