Happy schools: From theories to recommendations in order to realize this goal in Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract
Happy schools are a global education trend. In addition, building happy schools is also one of the goals that reflect the policies and guidelines of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Government of Vietnam in building a prosperous and happy country. This paper presented UNESCO's theory of happy schools and the historical significance of the CPV and the Government of Vietnam’s policies in developing human resources for Vietnam. The paper also made some recommendations to develop happy schools in Ho Chi Minh City in line with the current global trend as well as the historical significance of the CPV’s related policies.
