The digital transformation of Hanoi University of Science and Technology

Along with the inevitable trend of national digital transformation today, higher education institutions in Vietnam in general and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in particular have to implement digital transformation to better control learning, teaching, and research processes. Technological advances have changed the management, teaching, and research methods of universities. Therefore, digital transformation is one of the most important tasks of HUST. Digital transformation would help the university improve management and training quality, promote scientific research, and save time and money on daily operations. It also brings new working methods with greater efficiency to managers, departments, lecturers, and students. This paper presented the current digital transformation process of HUST. The paper also proposed some solutions to help the university overcome some immediate problems arising during the digital transformation process.
