Innovating the Communist Party of Vietnam’s leadership in the process of Building a socialist rule-of-law state in Vietnam

The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) is the ruling party that holds the leading role of state and society in Vietnam. Building a socialist rule-of-law state requires innovating the CPV content and leadership methods. Innovation is an inevitable and objective requirement for Vietnam’s development, ensuring that Vietnam is truly a state of the people, by the people, and for the people. This paper clarifies theoretical issues, evaluates results, and points out limitations in the process of leading the state and society of the CPV. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions are proposed to strengthen the CPV leadership.
