Legal provisions on food safety standards and technical regulations

This study summarizes the basic legal theories for food safety standards and technical regulations in Vietnam and some other countries around the world. The study highlights the role of standards, technical regulations, and the main legal contents of other countries in governing the development and promulgation of food safety technical standards and regulations. The study is one of the theoretical and practical bases to direct the review and improvement of Vietnam’s food safety technical standards and regulations in order to better protect the interests and health of consumers as well as meet the socio-economic development goals in the coming time.
