Abstract
Selling and trading medicines for specific treatments are conditional business activities as these activities directly affect human health. Hence, it is an important and urgent task to manage the quality of medicines for specific treatments. Vietnam has a relatively completed legal system governing business activities related to medicines for specific treatments. This legal system has facilitated the development of pharmaceutical industry in general and business activities related to medicines for specific treatments in particular in Vietnam. It has also promoted the international integration of Vietnam’s pharmaceutical industry. This study is to clarify the role of regulations on business activities related to medicines for specific treatments, and propose some solutions to ensure the legal compliance of these business activities.
