Karl Marx's theory of ground rent and the completion of the draft of Law on Land 2013 (amended)

This paper presents the basic content of Karl Marx's theory of ground rent, clarifies the nature and presence of ground rent and ground rent types of the market economy. Through the field survey, this paper analyzes and clarifies some inadequacies in the current land use and land management of Vietnam. The paper also makes some recommendations to complete the draft of Law on Land 2013 (amended) in order to effectively use land for the country’s socio-economic development.
