Đại dịch Covid-19 và hiệu quả hoạt động của công ty niêm yết: Nghiên cứu thực nghiệm ở đồng bằng sông Cửu Long

Nghiên cứu nhằm điều tra những thay đổi trong hiệu quả hoạt động của các công ty niêm yết tại Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, kiểm định các lý thuyết về cấu trúc vốn thông qua việc xem xét tác động của đại dịch Covid-19. Dữ liệu 5 năm của các công ty niêm yết trên HOSE, HNX, UPCOM giai đoạn 2017-2021 được sử dụng để kiểm định các giả thuyết. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy đòn bẩy có tác động tiêu cực và đáng kể đến hiệu quả hoạt động của công ty, phù hợp với lý thuyết đánh đổi và lý thuyết trật tự phân hạng. Mặc dù đại dịch Covid-19 ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến hoạt động thương mại và đầu tư tại Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, nhưng không ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng đến hoạt động kinh doanh của các doanh nghiệp niêm yết tại khu vực này. Ngoài ra, các công ty ở Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long có xu hướng sử dụng quản trị lợi nhuận để giảm tác động của đại dịch Covid-19, điều này phù hợp với lý thuyết đại diện.
