Provisions on commercial mediation from the practice in Ho Chi Minh City: Current situation and solutions

Abstract
Ho Chi Minh City is the economic center of Vietnam and business activities in Ho Chi Minh City always grow rapidly. Along with the strong economic development, the number of business disputes in the city is increasing. The city has many arbitration and conciliation centers. This paper systematically analyzes Vietnam’s provisions on commercial mediation, and proposes directions to strengthen these provisions in order to improve the law on commercial mediation, and enhance the efficiency of commercial dispute settlement by mediation in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
