Solutions to enhance notaries’ responsibilities from practice in Lam Dong province

This study evaluates the current situation and proposes solutions to enhance notaries’ responsibilities in Lam Dong province in the context of implementing the 2024 Law on Notarization (effective from July 1, 2025) and Decree No. 109/2026/ND-CP (effective from May 18, 2026). The study analyzes notaries’ responsibilities, including civil, administrative, criminal, and professional ethical responsibilities. The findings indicate that although notaries have effectively ensured legal safety for contracts and transactions, practical implementation still faces challenges related to formal professional liability insurance, pressure from new administrative sanctions, and limitations in technological infrastructure. Based on these findings, the study proposes solutions to enhance notaries’ responsibilities in practice.
