Theapplication of the Law on the Obligation to Bear the Costs of On-Site Inspection and Assessment of Disputed Land in the People's Courts, and Policy Recommendations

This article examines the theoretical issues and legal provisions relating to the obligation to bear the costs of on-site inspection and assessment of disputed land parcels during during court proceedings at the People's Courts. Based on adjudicative practice People's Court of An Giang Province, the article analyzes the current state of applying the law on the obligation to bear such costs, thereby identifying the challenges and shortcomings in both the legal provisions and their practical application. On this basis, the author proposes solutions to improve the legal framework and enhance the effectiveness of applying the provisions governing the obligation to bear the costs of on-site inspection and assessment of disputed land parcels in the judicial proceedings of the People's Courts.
