Issues in improving the law on private economic development in the context of the digital economy

In the context of Vietnam’s acceleration of digital transformation, green development, and deep international integration, the private sector is increasingly affirming its role as a key driver of the economy. Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo marks a shift in development thinking by identifying the private sector as one of the most important drivers of the socialist-oriented market economy. This study focuses on analyzing both theoretical and practical issues of the legal framework governing the private sector in Vietnam, while highlighting several limitations such as overlapping regulations, high compliance costs, and difficulties in accessing resources. The study also emphasizes the need for continued legal reforms to create a transparent, equitable, and conducive business environment for sustainable private sector development.
