Published: October 3, 2026
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is opening up new approaches to improving resource efficiency, transforming production and business activities, and enhancing the quality of economic growth. However, translating the potential of this technology into a driver of labor productivity growth requires a coordinated set of solutions. This study examines the role of AI as a new driver of labor productivity growth in Vietnam and identifies the opportunities and challenges associated with its application. On this basis, the study proposes several measures to promote AI adoption, thereby contributing to higher labor productivity in Vietnam in the emerging development context.
