Factors affecting student satisfaction with the quality of health sciences training: A case study of Hung Vuong University of Ho Chi Minh City
Published: September 16, 2026
Abstract
This study identifies factors affecting student satisfaction with the quality of health sciences training at Hung Vuong University of Ho Chi Minh City using a sample of 250 students. Data were analyzed in SPSS 27 using Cronbach’s Alpha, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple linear regression. The five-factor model explained 50.9% of the variance in satisfaction. Teaching staff quality (β = 0.400), curriculum quality (β = 0.350), facilities and equipment (β = 0.340), and practical training quality (β = 0.330) had positive effects, whereas student support services were not statistically significant. Post hoc power analysis indicated very high power for the overall model, although its ability to detect the unique contribution of student support services remained limited. The findings provide empirical evidence for improving health sciences training quality.
