Development of coastal and island tourism in Quang Ninh Province: Advantages and challenges in the current context

Coastal and island tourism plays an important role in promoting economic growth and socio-cultural development in Quang Ninh Province and other coastal localities of Vietnam, while also contributing to the protection of national sovereignty over seas and islands. Through the analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and systematization of relevant research materials, this study examines the principal advantages and challenges facing coastal and island tourism in Quang Ninh and proposes solutions for its development in the current context. The study provides an overview of Quang Ninh’s coastal and island tourism resources and development conditions and offers information and a scientific basis for research and policymaking. It emphasizes the need to develop this tourism segment in a green and sustainable manner while diversifying tourism products.
